Dressing Table, Denmark, 1960s

This elegant Danish dressing table is a fine example of the understated beauty and functionality that define Scandinavian furniture from the mid-century period. Combining clean architectural lines with thoughtful storage, it offers a timeless design that feels equally at home in a bedroom, dressing room or hallway.

Executed in warm teak, the dressing table features a generously sized tilting mirror with softly rounded corners and elegant brass side fittings. A raised rear shelf provides space for everyday essentials, while the asymmetrical drawer arrangement—two larger drawers on the left and three smaller drawers on the right—offers practical, well-organised storage. Sculpted drawer pulls, slender tapered legs and carefully balanced proportions complete the design, highlighting the refined craftsmanship throughout.

A beautifully versatile piece that functions equally well as a dressing table, compact desk or elegant console.

Kaptafel, Denemarken, Jaren 60
