Vintage Bubble Glass Flush Mount Light, Europe, 1970s

Vintage Bubble Glass Flush Mount Light, Europe, 1970s

This striking vintage flush mount light combines a thick domed glass shade with a warm brass-toned base, resulting in a design that feels both sculptural and understated. The glass is filled with countless trapped air bubbles that create a beautiful sparkle when illuminated, while softly diffusing the light throughout the room.

Inside, two angled E27 sockets enhance the light distribution and add subtle reflections to the brass-coloured interior. With its rounded form and honest choice of materials, the lamp embodies the playful optimism of 1970s space age design, complemented by a subtle brutalist character. Suitable for both ceiling and wall mounting, it works equally well in a hallway, living room or bedroom.

Vintage Bubbelglas Plafondlamp, Onbekend, Europa, jaren 70
