Designed by Gunnar Nielsen Tibergaard, this elegant Danish secretary is a beautiful example of multifunctional Scandinavian furniture from the 1960s. Combining generous storage with a compact footprint, it offers a practical workspace without compromising on refined design.
The fall-front writing surface opens to reveal a thoughtfully arranged interior with a series of small drawers and compartments for organising stationery, documents and everyday essentials. Below, three spacious drawers provide ample additional storage. Gracefully curved sides, tapered legs and the warm tone of the teak give the secretary its distinctive Scandinavian character, making it equally suited to a home office, living room or hallway.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light signs of age and use. There is a small area of veneer damage on the top, as shown in the photographs. The secretary has been thoroughly cleaned, checked and treated with a high-quality furniture oil to nourish and protect the teak.

Deze elegante Deense secretaire, ontworpen door Gunnar Nielsen Tibergaard, is een prachtig voorbeeld van multifunctioneel Scandinavisch meubeldesign uit de jaren zestig. Het meubel biedt veel opbergruimte en een praktische werkplek, verpakt in een compact en verfijnd ontwerp.
Achter het neerklapbare schrijfblad bevindt zich een overzichtelijk interieur met verschillende kleine lades en vakken voor schrijfwaren, documenten en andere dagelijkse benodigdheden. Daaronder bieden drie ruime lades volop extra opbergruimte. De sierlijk gebogen zijkanten, taps toelopende poten en de warme uitstraling van het teak geven de secretaire zijn karakteristieke Deense uitstraling, waardoor hij zich moeiteloos thuis voelt in zowel een werkkamer als een woonkamer of hal.

Conditie: Uitstekende vintage staat met lichte gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd. Aan de bovenzijde bevindt zich een kleine fineerbeschadiging, zoals te zien is op de foto’s. De secretaire is volledig gereinigd, gecontroleerd en behandeld met hoogwaardige meubelhoutolie om het teak te voeden en te beschermen.

Courier costs are not calculated automatically, as they depend on the destination and the size of the item. Once your order has been placed, I'll get in touch with you to discuss the available transport options and provide a quotation before anything is arranged.
