⭐️ This elegant 1960s coffee table, designed by Johannes Andersen and produced by CF Christensen in Silkeborg, beautifully showcases the refined craftsmanship Andersen is known for. The solid teak frame features his characteristic soft organic lines: rounded table edges, seamless transitions into the tapered legs, and a warm, consistent grain pattern across the top surface.
⭐️ A standout feature is the dual-sided drawer system. One drawer offers a single large compartment—perfect for storing books or magazines—while the opposite drawer reveals six smaller sections with removable black covers, combined with one larger open space. These clever compartments make it ideal for organizing small items discreetly.
⭐️ The table retains its original Danish furnituremakers label from CF Christensen, further confirming its authenticity.
⭐️ Dimensions: Height: 50 cm, Width: 164 cm, Depth: 60 cm
⭐️ Condition: In very good vintage condition with light signs of use in line with age. The teak shows a rich, warm tone with beautifully visible grain details. The table has been fully cleaned and checked, and the wood has been treated with a high-grade quality oil to protect and nourish the finish.

⭐️ Deze elegante salontafel uit de jaren 60, ontworpen door Johannes Andersen en geproduceerd door CF Christensen in Silkeborg, toont prachtig het verfijnde vakmanschap waar Andersen om bekend staat. Het massief teak onderstel heeft zijn kenmerkende organische vormen: afgeronde randen, vloeiende overgangen naar de taps toelopende poten en een warm, gelijkmatig houtpatroon over het blad.
⭐️ Een bijzonder detail is het dubbele ladesysteem. Aan één zijde bevindt zich een lade met één grote opbergruimte, ideaal voor tijdschriften of boeken. De lade aan de andere zijde bevat zes kleinere vakken met uitneembare zwarte deksels en daarnaast één grotere open ruimte. Perfect om kleine items overzichtelijk en uit het zicht op te bergen.
⭐️ De originele Danish furnituremakers label van CF Christensen is nog aanwezig, wat de authenticiteit onderstreept.

Delivery
Larger pieces of furniture require a different approach than standard parcel shipping. Items such as sideboards, dining tables, chairs and cabinets are transported by experienced furniture couriers who specialise in handling vintage pieces with care.
Within the Netherlands, delivery is arranged through a selection of trusted partners, including Brenger, as well as local couriers when appropriate. For international deliveries, I work with Magic Movers, a specialist in transporting vintage and design furniture across Europe.
For these items, you'll see "Local Pickup or Courier" as the available delivery option during checkout. Courier costs are not calculated automatically, as they depend on the destination and the size of the item. Once your order has been placed, I'll get in touch with you to discuss the available transport options and provide a quotation before anything is arranged.
