Bubble Glass Flush Mount / Wall Lamp, Germany, 1960s–1970s

This striking German flush mount combines heavy textured glass with warm brass details, creating a lamp that is equally sculptural when switched off as it is atmospheric when illuminated. The richly textured bubble glass softly diffuses the light, producing a warm glow and a beautiful interplay of highlights and shadows across its surface.

The substantial glass shade is secured to a brass-coloured metal base with three decorative brass thumb screws, a detail that adds both function and visual balance. Whether mounted on the ceiling or used as a wall light, the lamp has a strong architectural presence while remaining understated enough to suit a wide range of interiors.

Although unmarked, the design is characteristic of lighting produced by Hillebrand Leuchten during the 1960s and 1970s.

Condition: In excellent vintage condition with only light signs of age and use. The glass and metal remain in beautiful condition. The lamp has been carefully cleaned, fully checked and the wiring has been inspected and replaced where necessary to ensure safe use.

Bubbelglas Plafond- / Wandlamp, Duitsland, Jaren 60–70

Deze karaktervolle Duitse plafond- of wandlamp combineert zwaar structuurglas met warme messingdetails en is daardoor net zo sculpturaal wanneer hij uit staat als sfeervol wanneer hij brandt. Het rijk gestructureerde bubbelglas verspreidt het licht op een zachte manier en zorgt voor een prachtig spel van licht en schaduw.

De zware glazen kap wordt bevestigd op een messingkleurige metalen basis met drie decoratieve messing draaiknoppen, een detail dat zowel functioneel als esthetisch bijdraagt aan het ontwerp. Of de lamp nu aan het plafond of aan de wand wordt gemonteerd, hij heeft een sterke architectonische uitstraling zonder nadrukkelijk aanwezig te zijn.

Hoewel ongemerkt, is het ontwerp sterk verwant aan de verlichting die Hillebrand Leuchten in de jaren 60 en 70 produceerde.

Conditie: In uitstekende vintage staat met slechts lichte gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd. Zowel het glas als het metaal verkeren in mooie staat. De lamp is zorgvuldig gereinigd, volledig nagekeken en de bedrading is gecontroleerd en waar nodig vervangen, zodat de lamp veilig gebruikt kan worden.
