⭐️ This elegant mid-century chest of drawers, made in Finland by Oy Wilhelm Schauman, showcases the refined craftsmanship of one of the country’s oldest veneer factories. The warm teak veneer features a beautiful, rich grain pattern that gives the piece depth and character. What truly sets this chest apart are the sculpted drawer fronts with their integrated handles placed along the bottom edge instead of the top – a subtle yet striking design choice that enhances its clean, architectural look.

⭐️ Condition: In very good vintage condition with minor signs of use consistent with age. The veneer presents beautifully with light wear visible upon close inspection. Structurally solid and suitable for daily use. The chest has been thoroughly cleaned, fully checked, and treated with high-grade quality wood oil to nourish and protect the wood.

Het warme teakfineer heeft een prachtige, rijke nerftekening die het meubel karakter en diepte geeft. Wat deze kast echt bijzonder maakt, zijn de vormgegeven ladefronten met geïntegreerde handgrepen aan de onderzijde in plaats van aan de bovenzijde – een subtiel maar opvallend detail dat zorgt voor een strakke, architectonische uitstraling.

⭐️ Conditie: In zeer goede vintage staat met lichte gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd. Het fineer oogt prachtig met lichte slijtage zichtbaar bij nadere inspectie. Constructief solide en geschikt voor dagelijks gebruik. De kast is grondig gereinigd, volledig nagekeken en behandeld met hoogwaardige houtolie om het hout te voeden en te beschermen.

Within the Netherlands, delivery is arranged through a selection of trusted partners, including Brenger, as well as local couriers when appropriate. For international deliveries, I work with Magic Movers, a specialist in transporting vintage and design furniture across Europe.

For these items, you'll see "Local Pickup or Courier" as the available delivery option during checkout. Courier costs are not calculated automatically, as they depend on the destination and the size of the item. Once your order has been placed, I'll get in touch with you to discuss the available transport options and provide a quotation before anything is arranged.
